Who we are
Choctaw Strategies is wholly owned by an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and was built to bring senior professionals, direct accountability, and federally compliant delivery to every engagement. The company serves federal agencies, state and local governments, tribal nations, prime contractors, and the insurance market.
Founder
The company was founded in August 2023 by Chris Chambers, an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma who learned of his Choctaw ancestry during the pandemic and built the firm to serve Indian Country and the federal market alike. He holds a Master of Legal Studies in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma, FEMA certification in Mitigation Planning for Local and Tribal Communities under IS-318.b, and more than 25 years of catastrophe claims experience as an Executive General Adjuster, including an $85 million Gulf Coast commercial loss placed through the London market. He is a member of the Oklahoma Indian Bar Association.
Native American owned
As a self certified Indian Economic Enterprise and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise eligible under the Buy Indian Act, and a small disadvantaged business with an SBA 8(a) application in process, Choctaw Strategies supports set aside, sole source, and subcontractor utilization requirements on federal, state, and tribal awards.
